Let me start by saying this space is long overdue. I have been meaning to share my creativity in this way for years now, but God's timing is perfect. I won't question that. It is being revealed to me as it is to you. What matters is that we're here for it! I have been writing all my life and didn't begin to share it until I was a teenager. While I enjoy being able to write about specific events and being booked for spoken word engagements, I still desire and feel that I must create a space for me to share my creativity as God leads me to do so. This blog is a reflection of the many parts of my life. I believe that creativity goes beyond your gifts and talents in your hands. Creativity is a way of being and can be found in any part of your existence. So here, that is what you will get.
As a fellow creative, I am sure you know finding space and community can be a task. You long to find people who get you while still being able to challenge you in the best way to become better. "Being creative" is not always about your art; sometimes, it lies in your mind and how you process it. Either way, there is room for me. I have made sure of it right here! I desire to help others find their creative path. Once you have tapped into it, you must continue cultivating and nurturing it. It should grow with you. Your path and plan should reflect that growth- the thing inside you keeps you motivated to evolve.
